Elephant

When the Kruger N.P. was founded the elephants were pushed back far to the North. Due to the protection the population of elephants recovered so well that there was not enough space for it. The animals moved to near areas, which didn't make the inhabitatns of the villages very happy. It got so bad that the responsible of the park had to reduce the amount of elephant by using guns. This provoqued the environmentalists from all over the world. In the meantime people have found a good solution to the problem: The animals are caught and sold at an auction to zoos and animal parks that want to build up their own elephant population.
