Asplenium septentrionale

This is not a moss, but a fern - the "Forked Spleenwort" or "Northern Spleenwort (Asplenium septentrionale)". It prefers dry and bright places on chalkfree walls or rocks. In spite of its name it's spread rather in the southern parts of Europe than in the north. The picture was taken in the vineyards at the river Ahr (germany).
